Mosea is a mobile payments app with a focus on group payments and splitting bills. Mosea is a Canadian-built platform that allows users to send and receive instant money transfers from friends. Mosea is the first of its kind platform in Canada, built to bring Canadians up to speed with similar American social-payment platforms.

Mosea users can create groups with up to 20 people, to split bills, send and request money, and keep track of which friends still have not paid them back. Within groups, bills can be split evenly between all group members, or each member can pay specific amounts. Mosea’s group feature has a built in calculator to help you figure out how much each member owes, and if there is any part of the bill unaccounted for.

Mosea offers a social component, by allowing its users to follow their friends and easily wire money right to their profile. These funds can be held in your Mosea Wallet, which keeps a transaction history of all your previous deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. Funds can be instantly withdrawn from your Wallet into your bank account at any time.
